A Good Day

There was no school today. A holiday. A hanging-out -with-grandson day. Starting with early morning sunshine and a fascinated 7-year old chasing prism colors around the kitchen. Little hands holding color. Holding rainbow. Fascinated with spectrum. With violet that I could hardly see. Holding in his hands. As though it were the most delicate thing he could imagine. prism

A quick trip for groceries.  Raucous laughter at the check out when I was quietly asked to look at my feet. And saw this. shoes

Then home for smoothies
