I’m eyeballing dandelion greens outside. Eyeballing grasses and the very first hint of dogwood leaves. Waiting for that amazing green palette–greens of every imaginable value and hue– that presents itself ever so briefly before blending into one long summer GREEN. For now:
you are on such a roll with these spiraling beauties Patricia!

Patricia, your green baskets are in a word, enchanting. Green makes my whole body dance, it is my favorite color, the color of new growth, of nature awakening and arising. Wearing green simply makes me feel alive!
A favorite blogger of mine, Cate Kerr of Beyond the Fields We know said this of green:
“If grace and gladness and wildness and life have a color, it is surely green and a fine thing it is to be walking in the world on such a day.”

a “fine thing” this. this quote. your comment. such a feminine interpretation of green-ness. (i’m thinking now of its counterpart–dylan thomas’ the force that through the green fuse drives the flower…..) and choose this one. this idea of green. sacred green.
