Disclaimer–Pop up Ads a mystery

14 Nov

My sister was just reading this blog, on her computer. There was a weird video at the end of it. I asked her what it was. She said, “These ads always pop up and sometimes they’re really bizarre.” I had no idea. Trying to figure out how to get rid of them. Anyone have suggestions?

Are you using the free version of wordpress? I think you might have to upgrade to a paid version to remove ads. I don’t see them because I use adblock but I kind of remember this issue when I was trying to decide which host to use.

Hi Patricia, I pay an extra $$30 to WordPress per year not to have ads and an extra $20 to be able to load Old Man Crow’s music files.

I was getting them too, until Mo suggested the $30 fee. I feel like it’s really worth it, even though I’ve been so, so committed to doing it all on the cheap.
