Eighth birthday yesterday. And of course, the b-day song. My favorite part?–the addition at the end of “and maaaaaaaaany moooooooooooooooooore.” Love it because I sing off-key anyway, so can belt that out with certainty. A party in the park right next to their house. Weather was kind–clear sky, sliver of a moon, inflatable movie screen projecting “The Lego Movie.”
and in lieu of presents, a request for FOOD. Food for the animals.
Before this soft ending to a soft day, Super Moon with Penguin–finished. Backed. Hanging. Small.
Birthday jollies a day late for your dear grandson. I would have said birthday blessings but they are there in abundance with this best kind of birthday:, a celebration of Logan, of family, of friends and of the animals who are both, kindness, awareness and heart, the best gifts of all…AND hanging small but huge in terms of quiet joy, this Super Moon with Penguin..

will convey your birthday greetings! right now i’m in the process of packing up my house. feel certain i don’t have another move in me, after this one. so, quiet penguin joy–i’ll think about that as i delve into packing.

yes, inflatable, and it was funny to watch. like those blow-up cartoon figures in a Macy’s parade. the screen didn’t cooperate at first. fell over one way and then the other. finally it stood though, and all was well. glad it wasn’t windy!
